OVERVIEW
This workshop digs into telling dramatic stories, improvisational acting skills and developing characters who matter and have a point of view. Although the work is more serious in nature, the class is fun and freeing. You will learn how to ground yourself in your scene work, and shine a light on the most honest and compelling stories.
TEACHER
Domeka Parker (US): Raised by professional improvisers, Domeka grew up with a deep understanding of the art and craft. With over 20 years of teaching experience Domeka created Sound Improv, a unique approach to Improvisational Theater. She has taught at Cambridge University in England, as well as Portland State, and Fort Hayes in the U.S. She has also taught and performed in countries across the globe, including Finland, Austria, Australia, Amsterdam and Slovenia.
