OVERVIEWIn this workshop Joe shares the best practices for sharing personal stories, partially improvised, in the moment for an audience. The focus is on the techniques of Naïve Narrator: reliving events as you express external visceral details and share your inner thoughts, feelings, and psychological awareness as you relate your story with the audience.
TEACHERWith 40+ years of experience in the art of improvisation, Joe Bill is widely regarded as one of the best teachers of Improvised Storytelling and Scenic, Longform & Duo Improvisation in North America today. He is one of the founding members of Annoyance Theater Chicago where, for 12 years, he performed in and/or directed more than 60 different shows. He now spends his time teaching, performing, directing improvisation around the world.
